The general description of interlocking anti-bacterial agents used in BactoStat™ nanomodule is given below:
  1. react with the microbial cell surface, destroy the integrity of the cell membrane, penetrate into the cell and precipitate the cytoplasm

  2. inhibit EF-G:GDP dissociation from microbial ribosomes
